LexScholars Pipeline

LexScholars at UC Klekamp College of Law

At UC Klekamp Law, we are committed to expanding access to legal education by supporting talented applicants throughout the law school admissions process. The LexScholars is a pathway initiative for aspiring law students. 

LexScholars offers three distinct pathways designed to meet students where they are in their academic journey: 

  • LexPreLaw – A cohort-based program that introduces participants to the law school application process while providing mentorship, skill development, and opportunities for growth. 

  • LexPostBacc – A deferred admission pathway for applicants who demonstrate strong potential but would benefit from additional academic preparation before beginning law school.  

  • LexPostBaccDirect – An intensive law school readiness program that helps participants strengthen the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a J.D. program. 

Participation in LexScholars is provided at no cost. In addition, eligible participants may receive stipends and other forms of financial assistance to support their educational journey.
