By combining experiential and real world learning opportunities, strong centers of practice, and robust academic courses, UC Law provides the benefits of a small school and opportunities of a large one.
Once the foundation has been laid, students spend the next several years exploring a wide range of topics, courses and seminars. From criminal law to corporate law, from intellectual property law to litigation, students can sharpen their knowledge and skills, while concentrating their studies in an area of interest.
UC Law also offers joint degree and exchange programs, offering students more ways to create a unique academic experience. Students interested in working in their community, or becoming freedom fighters or human rights advocates can do so through the many clinics, centers and institutes UC Law offers. Numerous classes have clinical components, providing students with "real world" experiences as they learn about the law. Famous centers and institutes, such as the Ohio Innocence Project or the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights, ensure that UC Law continues to break ground in the field of legal education.
