Jeremy Koenemann '16
Jeremy Koenemann attended Michigan State University where he earned his Bachelor in Social Work. He later pursued his Masters in Social Work from the University of South Carolina. Throughout his education Jeremy has served his community either as a volunteer or as a professional. After graduating with his masters he pursued his clinical license in social work by practicing child and family therapy at Seven Counties in Louisville, KY. While practicing as a therapist he realized that his clients were facing a range of legal issues that were keeping them from thriving at home, at school, and in their community.
Currently, Jeremy is serving as a 2L Law Clerk with the Domestic Violence and Civil Protection Order clinic. Combined with both the DVCPO clinic and the Weaver Fellowship Jeremy hopes to apply his social work skills to the area of law and gain valuable experience within non-profit and court settings.
