Admission
The deadline for transfer applications is August 1st.
Admission will be based primarily upon the applicant's law school academic record and to a lesser degree the applicant's pre-law qualifications. Since the College of Law enrolls a small entering class, the space available varies from year to year.
No applicant will be admitted who is not in good standing with a law school previously attended. Historically, many successful transfer students to the College of Law have come from the top quarter of their previous law school class.

Law school work will be evaluated and credited toward the Juris Doctor requirements

that was not completed at the previous law school. Our first year and
upper level curriculum can be reviewed at the College of Law's Academics Website.
A maximum of two years of credit can be applied. The right is reserved not to grant credit for work done in another law school.
