All students are eligible to purchase a parking decal. They are easily purchased through Parking Services' web site PRIOR to the start of each quarter. The purchase dates for Fall are May 20- July 31. Internet access for priority registration will be available in the Parking Offices and in some computer labs on campus. The following overview is provided for informational purposes only; the Parking Services website will have the most current information about on-campus parking.

Three decal purchase options available on Parking Services' web site:

Option 1: Will allow for Credit Card Purchase of CBA, Corry & Scioto/Jefferson Garage Decals and Evening Lots & Evening Garage Decals. Due to a larger supply, these decals tend to be more readily available and can therefore be purchased with a credit card over the Internet.

Option 2: Will allow for Mail Purchase of CBA, Corry & Scioto/Jefferson Garage Decals and Evening Lots & Evening Garage Decals. STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY EARLY.

Option 3: Will allow for registering in the Parking Lottery to become eligible for purchase of CCM, Brodie, Corry Garage Decals. Please be advised that future plans for campus could impact lot decal availability the details of which are unknown at this time. Parking Services will make every effort to update you on changes that may impact your decal selection. Due to a more limited supply the decals in option 3 are distributed through a lottery system.

Here are the guidelines that apply to the decal lottery.

1. For Fall, dates when applications can be submitted are May 20-July 31. Applications are only available through Parking's web site. Applications submitted by those with outstanding obligations will not be considered.

2. All applicants for a particular decal are pooled and then a random selection is made. Selection results will be available in early August. Students, including those in College of Law, will be made aware of parking options at this time. It is recommended that College of Law students visit the Parking web site sometime after August 5th to determine results and options.

3. Applicants not selected will have the first opportunity to purchase any decals that go unclaimed.

4. Entry in the decal lottery does not guarantee the applicant a decal.

Hourly Cash Parking:
Hourly parking is available in all garages on East and West Campus. Reduced weekend rates and evening rates for those entering after 3:00 pm are available in most garages.
