The University of Cincinnati's Institutional Policy on Sexual Harassment was adopted in 1982 and reaffirmed in 1988. The policy applies to all units of the University, including the College of Law.
The University of Cincinnati is committed to professional and academic environments free of discrimination. Any form of discrimination, including sexual harassment, is illegal and will not be tolerated.
It is the policy of the University of Cincinnati that no member of the University community -- faculty, staff or students -- may sexually harass any person. Anyone who violates this policy will be subject to disciplinary action which may include suspension or termination.

Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitute harassment when:
The University may be held liable for alleged acts of sexual harassment unless it has taken immediate steps to investigate and, as appropriate, resolve complaints.
Records of all complaints will be maintained in the Office of Affirmative Action.
Questions about this policy, requests for information about sexual harassment, or information on how to initiate a complaint of sexual harassment, should be directed to the Office of Affirmation Action, in Beecher Hall, Room 203 (556-5503), or the College Dean's Office.
At the College of Law, please contact Associate Dean Barbara Watts if you believe you have experienced an incident of sexual harassment.
