Employment Statistics

Employment statistics are an aggregation of individual choices and are derived from a variety of sources.  People come to law school for a variety of reasons; what they do with that degree varies greatly. 

Of those students graduating in either December 2009 or May 2010:

  • 112 of 129 graduates were known to be employed in a variety of capacities 
    • Bar Admission Required: 72 of the 112 employed *59 full- time
    • JD Preferred:  25 of the 112 employed *17 full-time
    • 10 of the 112 (including 7 Urban Law Fellowships) were part-time positions funded by the College of Law
  • 6 of 129 graduates were enrolled in a full-time degree program
  • 7 of 129 graduates were seeking
  • 2  of 129 graduates were not seeking
  • 2  of 129 graduates were unknown

Graduates were employed in sixteen (16) states with the largest number working in the Tri-State region.  Other states include: Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, California, and Washington D.C.

Salary information was reported by 29 of 112 graduates.
