James's Work in Afghanistan Leads to Rescue of Hostages
Kevin James, working for the US State Department in Afghanistan, is having an impressive impact on real lives. He was asked by the Department to create and train a specialized course in confidential informant development for the Major Crimes Task Force (the Afghan equivalent of the FBI). During the course several students had opportunity to put into practice what they were learning. After developing a confidential informant, as they had been instructed, the students used the leads to track down and apprehend a gang of kidnappers, rescuing hostages and recovering high-powered guns. The commanding general and operational office4rs have attributed their success to James’ training.
