Daniel G. Dutro Named to Board of Directors for Bad Girl Ventures
CINCINNATI, January 28, 2014 The law firm of Barron Peck Bennie & Schlemmer Co. L.P.A. (BPBS) is pleased to announce that Daniel G. Dutro has been named a board member of Bad Girl Ventures, Inc. (BGV), a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. This appointment continues Dutro’s commitment to contributing to the local business community and to supporting local non-profits.
Dan Dutro, a partner at BPBS, focuses his practice on commercial and residential real estate law, contract drafting and negotiation, and advising not-for-profit and tax-exempt organizations. He has also assisted clients with issues involving mortgage loan financing, employment matters, and collections.
Dutro is a long-time resident of Cincinnati and, in addition to his volunteer work with BGV, he is involved in several other community service activities. He is a board member of Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center (Manifest), another local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. He volunteers as a reader at the Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, as a lector at the Community of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and as a volunteer at Montgomery Community Church. He also coaches his son’s youth basketball team.
Bad Girl Ventures (BGV) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2010 dedicated to the mission of building and sustaining well-managed, profitable, women-owned businesses by providing female entrepreneurs with guidance, education, and access to capital. BGV has locations in Cincinnati, Cleveland and Columbus. Since its launch, BGV has been successful in educating over 400 female entrepreneurs and awarding $420,000 in loans throughout Ohio.
