Environmental Context: Neighborhood Matters for Human Health and Disease

Some scientists argue that our genetics substantially control our health and longevity.  But Dr. Ken Olden demonstrates that environmental factors, including the location of our neighborhood, significantly affects our health.  His research has important implications for the environmental justice movement as his research shows that racial minorities and poor people are often exposed to greater environmental harms and stresses. Join us for this very exciting and important lecture event.
