Ken Patel '90, Vice President, Associate General Counsel, Managing Global Intellectual Property Counsel and Personal Advisor for President Executives of the Proctor and Gamble Company, will speak at the law school.
With decades of service to the Proctor and Gamble Company, Mr. Patel is responsible for setting and transforming the path for P&G’s Asian Business Sector department as the Managing IP Counsel in Kobe, Japan. Currently, Mr. Patel manages all IP activities for P&G’s Baby & Family Care global business unit including agreements, transactions, legal opinions, litigation matters, patent preparation and prosecution, coordination of patent filing activities, general administrative matters, presentations on patent legal issues and strategies for senior business and R&D management of business unit. Mr. Patel is a 1990 College of Law graduate and has previously pursued a career with the Goodyear & Tire Rubber Company.
