Sharon Kennedy ’91 Elected to Ohio’s Supreme Court

Judge Sharon Kennedy, a Butler County (OH) domestic relations court judge, has won  a seat on the Supreme Court of Ohio. With this election, Justice Kennedy made history as the first Butler County (OH) resident elected to the state’s high court in almost 150 years. Prior to her current position with the domestic relations court, she worked in private practice for several years; served as a magistrate and warrant officer in Butler County; served as a warrant and compliance officer for Butler County’s juvenile court; and worked as special counsel for Ohio Attorney General Betty Montgomery. She also worked as a police officer for many years in the City of Hamilton (OH).
