UC ingot   “The Princeton Review” has released its annual rankings of the best business colleges and law schools and — no surprise — UC is on both lists. Just this past July, UC itself was rated by Princeton Review as being among the nation’s top 371 colleges and universities.

Unlike other rankings, the Princeton Review ratings are based heavily on student opinion surveys, which are completed either online or in hard copy. For this latest rating, Princeton Review compiled the lists based on surveys of 18,000 students attending the 172 law schools and 19,000 students attending the 301 business schools in the books, as well as on school-reported data.

“This ranking shows that our focus on placing students at the center of what we do is generating results that are understood and appreciated by our students,” says Business College Interim Dean Ralph Katerberg. “We place a high value on serving our students, which is evident through this form of student feedback. This ranking is perhaps the most important indicator for us to gauge because it represents the voice of our students and how they feel about business education at the UC College of Business.”

“As one of America’s best small law schools, we are dedicated to affording our students personalized attention and a supportive environment — along with the rich educational experiences and opportunities that can only be found in a great city and at a comprehensive research university," says College of Law Dean Lou Bilionis. "We think that’s a powerful combination, and our students agree.”
