OHIO

Cincinnati

Umar Bakhsh joins the Intellectual Property Department working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Prior to joining the firm, Bakhsh practiced as an Engineer at Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co., where his work focused on electrical component technology and mechanical design of manufacturing equipment. He also served as a law clerk at Global IP Law Group, where he was involved in the sales, licensing, and valuation of patent portfolios in the telecommunications, gaming and mobile computing spaces. Bakhsh earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Nicolas Brentlinger joins the Intellectual Property Department working out of the firm’s Cincinnati and Washington, D.C. offices. Prior to joining the firm, Brentlinger worked for Oliff & Berridge in Alexandria, Virginia. He earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati.

Joshua Stevens

Christopher Hammond joins the Corporate Department and Family Wealth Planning Practice Group working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Hammond earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.B.A. from the University of Toledo.

Elida Kamine joins the Corporate Department and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Prior to joining the firm, Kamine worked for Proskauer Rose LLP in New York City, NY. She earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from Brandeis University.

Michael Mattingly joins the Labor & Employment Department working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Prior to joining the firm, Mattingly worked in the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office and served as an Army officer in the 101st Airborne Division. He earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and his B.S. from Saint Louis University.

Jennifer Miller joins the Intellectual Property Department working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Miller earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Peter Muller joins the Litigation Department working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Muller earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his B.A. from the University of Chicago.

Ryan Reardon joins the Corporate Department and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Reardon earned his J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law and his B.S. from the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Nicole Sigurdson joins the Intellectual Property Department working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Sigurdson earned her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and her B.S. from Purdue University.

Christen Steimle joins the Litigation Department working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Earlier in her career, Steimle clerked for both Judge Bertelsman and Magistrate Judge Smith of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. She earned her J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law and her B.S. from Wright State University.

Joshua Stevens joins the Corporate Department and Commercial Finance Practice Group working out of the firm’s Cincinnati office. Stevens earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his B.A. from Centre College.

Columbus

Andrew Polesovsky joins the Litigation Department working out of the firm’s Columbus office. Polesovsky earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.S. from The Ohio State University.

KENTUCKY

Lexington

Kristeena Johnson joins the Litigation Department and Environmental Practice Group working out of the firm’s Lexington office. Johnson earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and her B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University.

Patrick Schach joins the Litigation Department working out of the firm’s Lexington office. Prior to joining the firm, Schach clerked for Judge Van Tatenhove of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his B.S. from Auburn University.

Louisville

Lesley Bilby joins the Labor & Employment Department working out of the firm’s Louisville office. Prior to joining the firm, Bilby clerked for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and her B.A. from Centre College.

Jerrad Howard joins the Corporate Department and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group working out of the firm’s Louisville office. Howard earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his B.S. from the University of Kentucky.

Marisa Main joins the Litigation Department working out of the firm’s Louisville office. Prior to joining the firm, Main clerked for Judge Simpson of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. She earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law and her B.A. from The Ohio State University.

Ryan Morrison joins the Litigation Department working out of the firm’s Louisville office. Prior to joining the firm, Morrison clerked for the Honorable Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law and his B.S. from Western Kentucky University.

Joseph Newberg joins the Corporate Department and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group working out of the firm’s Louisville office. Newberg earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law and his B.S. from the University of North Carolina.

Charleston

Katherine Santmyer joins the Litigation Department working out of the firm’s Charleston office. Santmyer earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. from West Virginia University.

Morgantown

Michael Moore joins the Corporate Department and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group working out of the firm’s Morgantown office. Moore earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and his B.S. from West Virginia University.
