The computer based exam software the College of Law uses is Exam4 produced by Extegrity.
The exam software requires a laptop computer with 10 MB free hard disk space (a very small amount), a network connection and/or a working USB port. The supported operating systems are Microsoft Windows 8 (excluding Surface Pro), Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Vista, Apple OS X 10.5 "Leopard" (Intel only) up to Apple OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion" (current).
The following operating systems are NOT supported by the exam software: Microsoft Windows XP and earlier, Apple Macintosh OS X 10.4 Tiger and earlier, Apple Macintosh OS X 10.5 Leopard on a non-Intel machine, Linux, Chromebooks, Microsoft Surface (RT and Pro), virtual operating systems (VMs), Apple iDevices (iPad, iPhone, etc.) or Android tablets.
The exam software is usually available for downloading approximately 2 weeks before the start of exams. For those who have not used the exam software, there will be a presentation to give you an overview of the software just before the start of the downloading period for the Fall exams.
