Summer Study in England Program
International and European Business Law
July 14-August 8, 2014
The University of Cincinnati College of Law is pleased to announce a new summer program in International and European Business Law. The four-week program is offered in conjunction with the Centre for Commercial Law and Financial Regulation (CCLFR) of the University of Reading, just outside London in Reading, England. It is open to law and graduate business students interested in learning about law and business in a transnational environment.
Established by the University of Reading’s School of Law and its Henley Business School’s ICMA Centre, the CCFLR is a forum for research and knowledge on international commercial law and financial regulation, bringing together scholars, policymakers and practitioners in law and finance.
The School of Law was ranked joint 7th (along with Cambridge University) for world leading research and international excellence. The Henley Business School is one of the few business schools worldwide to hold triple-accredited status from the major UK, European, and US awarding bodies, and its ICMA Centre was the first active collaboration between the securities industry and a university finance department.
The program will be held on the beautiful campus of the University of Reading in the City of Reading, located about 25 minutes from London via train from Paddington station. Classes will take place at the School of Law located in Foxhill House, an historic building on the main campus surrounded by parkland with attractive views of Whiteknights Lake.
