Lourdes originally began her undergraduate career as a pre-med student but in her Junior year, realized that her interests lay more in the field of law. In the summer of 2010 Lourdes worked as a summer associate at the firm of Baker & Hostetler in their Cincinnati office. She expects her Weaver Fellowship to further her interest in the intersection of law and medicine as well as providing her with a better understanding of mental health issues in the legal field.
