Brendan O’Reilly earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Studies and Psychology from the University of Dayton. His undergraduate work with Dr. Susan Davis solidified his passion for the subject of psychology. Brendan’s father and brother are both attorneys, and these role models taught him that lawyers possess powerful tools to affect the world. Brendan’s decision to apply to law school was a natural extension of his enthusiasm for justice and thirst for academic challenge.
Brendan is taking advantage of the College of Law’s academic challenges and opportunities to work directly with the community. He has volunteered at the City Prosecutor’s office and looks forward to working with the Ohio Innocence Project in the coming year. The Weaver Institute will help him expand his knowledge and experience in both the law and the mind. Brendan hopes his work with the Weaver Institute can advance efforts to connect the fields of law and mental health.
