Strong presentation skills are essential for all lawyers, not just litigators. Inside and outside the courtroom, in mediation, town meetings, board and law firm meetings, and during client counseling, adeptness at formal presentations can be critical. Even when thoroughly prepared on the content, our presentations often fall short. This seminar is designed to enhance the effectiveness of professionals’ presentations to internal and external audiences. (print program description (pdf))

Participants will learn to:

  • present with confidence and authority
  • use gestures effectively and avoid distracting mannerisms
  • exercise a variety of delivery styles
  • engage and establish connection with different audiences
  • communicate using principles of adult learning
  • conduct an effective Q & A
