Employer's Assurance of Compliance
With College of Law Non-Discrimination Policy

The University of Cincinnati College of Law, by action of the Faculty, subscribes to University of Cincinnati and Association of American Law Schools (AALS) policies against discrimination in all our activities, including providing assistance or facilities to employers engaged in recruiting activities

University Rule 3361:10-13 states that discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, physical or mental handicap, or status as a disabled veteran or veteran of the Vietnam Era will not be practiced or tolerated in any university activities.

AALS policy requires member schools to provide equality of opportunity, without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, handicap or disability, or sexual orientation. In regulations applicable to placement activities, the AALS requires that we, as a member school communicate, our non-discrimination policy to employers and obtain assurances of compliance with it from each employer to whom we furnish assistance or facilities for interviewing and other placement functions.
