In 1998, Ms. Thomas joined the College of Law as Director of the Law Library and Information Technology and Adjunct Professor of Law. Prior to her current appointment, she served as the Law Librarian and Associate Professor of Law at the University of Miami. Ms. Thomas, who is a member of the Illinois bar, has taught both introductory and advanced legal research courses and has presented a number of programs on legal research methodology. Her publications focus on legal research, law librarianship and related topics.
Ms. Thomas has been a member of the Committee of Management for Teen Services, Greater Cincinnati Area YMCA. She currently serves on the Praeger/Greenwood Publishing Group Library Advisory Board.
