Professor Darrell Miller began his teaching career with the College of Law after five years in the litigation department with Vorys, Sater, Seymour, and Pease. He received his JD from Harvard Law School, where he served as Notes Editor for the Harvard Law Review. Professor Miller holds a BA from Anderson University as well as a BA and an MA from Oxford University, having been chosen as a British Marshall Scholar. Following law school, Professor Miller clerked for Judge R. Guy Cole, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He is author of the forthcoming Fordham Law Review article White Cartels, the Civil Rights Act of 1866 and the History of Jones v. Alfred H. Mayer Co. His most recent work, State DOMAs, Neutral Principles and the Mobius of State Action has just been accepted for publication by The Temple Law Review. Professor Miller is currently working on an article exploring First Amendment obscenity doctrine as a model for analyzing the Second Amendment Right to bear arms.
