Mina Jones Jefferson is the Assistant Dean and Director of the Center for Professional Development at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Under Dean Jefferson's direction, the Center provides comprehensive, integrated services in the areas of private and public sector employment, career counseling, programming and training, and volunteer opportunities that promote skill enhancement.
Prior to joining the College of Law in 1999, Ms. Jefferson was a partner at the law firm of Frost & Jacobs LLP where she practiced commercial litigation for nine years. She currently serves as a member of the board of trustees for the Cincinnati Bar Foundation, the Legal Society of Greater Cincinnati, ProKids, and the Children's Law Center in Northern Kentucky.
She received her B.A. in public administration from Miami University and her law degree from the University of Cincinnati. In 2002, Dean Jefferson was the recipient of the 2002 Nicholas Longworth III Alumni Achievement Award.
