Professor Goldman joined the law school in fall 2008 after several years of diverse legal experience, most recently in the area of insurance defense litigation. She has worked as a sole practitioner, handling cases in Hamilton County courts and representing indigent clients for the Public Defender’s Office. Professor Goldman also worked as a senior consultant for R.L. Stevens & Associates, a career marketing firm, and at Tobias, Kraus & Torchia in the area of employee rights litigation.
In addition to a juris doctorate from Indiana University, her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in vocal music education from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma.
Through her professional and community activities, Professor Goldman has shown a strong commitment to helping low-income women and children. She volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for ProKids and serves as Vice President of the Women’s Research and Development Center.
