The College of Law offers at least three Trial Practice courses, including a Trial Practice Competition course, designed to prepare students for regional inter-school competitions. After the one semester course, students selected for trial practice competition receive additional, intensive coaching in preparation for each competition, and receive non-classroom credit for their work.
In addition, students in our Domestic Violence and Civil Protection Order Clinic have the opportunity to conduct trials and argue motions in court for real clients, under the supervision of the clinic director.
