The first assignment covers Acquisition of property by conquest and Acquisition of property by capture. I expect to cover at least part of Acquisition of property by finding by the end of the first week. I would like to ask students to form groups of 3 or 4 students each, and group members will act as “co-counsels” for the cases and issues that we discuss in class and answer questions as a team. For that reason, students in the same group should sit close to each other in class. Room 114 is a big room and we have about 70 students in the class. Thus, I would like to ask students to sit as close to the front as they feel comfortable.
