I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Fittingly enough, I am a huge Ohio State fan even though I did not go to undergrad there. I got my degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduation in 2008, I went to work as an engineer with DuPont in Richmond, Virginia working primarily in the Kevlar division doing research. Kevlar is the fiber that is used to produce bullet proof and puncture proof vests. I travel quite frequently and have lived in a lot of different areas of the country, but I always prefer to end up back in the Midwest. In terms of non-academic pursuits, I enjoy hiking, skiing, cycling, mountain biking, camping, traveling, video games, reading, and seeing live sporting and music events.
Currently, I am a second year law student and I have greatly enjoyed my time here at UC Law. The thing that I love most about UC is the small class sizes and the accessibility of the professors and staff. After graduation, I hope to practice in the Midwest working in Intellectual Property, specifically patent litigation and prosecution.
