IngotNew Center Prepares Students to take Lead in Advancing Justice

The College of Law’s newest endeavor—the Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice—takes flight this school year. The Center, which builds upon the College’s existing program in law and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies, officially will be launched on October 22, 2010 with keynote speaker Tina Tchen, executive director of The White House Council on Women and Girls. This event will be held at the Netherland Hilton at noon. (Read more)

IngotJD/MA Alumna Ellen Eardley '03 Tackles Civil Rights Issues

Ellen EardleyUC Law’s joint degree program served as a powerful recruitment tool for Ellen Eardley ’03. A native of southern Illinois, she was drawn to the program so that she could focus on the intersection of women’s studies and the law. (Read more)

IngotJD/PhD Scholar Jenn Dye '09 Combines Research and the Law

Jenn DyeRecent law school graduate Jenn Dye ’09 has spent most of her life in Cincinnati and its surrounding communities. A JD/PhD student at the university, she has been a student at UC for five years, working toward an advanced degree in political science.  Not one to rest on her laurels, she completed a master’s degree in political science during this time as well.
