Professor Lew Goldfarb
Professor of Clinical Law and Director, Entrepreneurships and Community Development Clinic

Professor Goldfarb founded and directs the College’s Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic. Once an entrepreneur himself, Professor Goldfarb is both a business lawyer and a CPA. He has worked at Honda of America Mfg, Inc., as an accountant at Arthur Anderson LLP and Cardinal Foods Inc., and at law firm Baker & Hostetler. Read more about Prof. Goldfarb here.


Steven Goldstein
Partner, Frost Brown Todd LLC (Cincinnati office)

Mr. Goldstein’s practice focuses on patent law, especially patent prosecution, patent portfolio management and counseling, international patent practice, and patent licenses and research agreements, especially in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. He has expertise in European Patent Office practice, having practice for several years in Brussels, Belgium, and has received training at the University of Strasbourg. Mr. Goldstein’s clients include Fortune 100 chemical, consumer product and pharmaceutical companies, as well as universities and research institutes.

Mr. Goldstein spent almost 20 years as patent counsel at The Procter & Gamble Company, ultimately service the company as associate general counsel-Patent and World Patent Coordinator. In this capacity, he managed a world-wide patent attorney group, as well as managed P&G’s international patent portfolio relating to beauty care, cosmetic and perfume products. For the past 23 years, Mr. Goldstein has been a partner at Frost Brown Todd, building and managing the firm’s intellectual property law practice. For over 27 years, Mr. Goldstein has been an adjunct professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, teaching courses in legal writing, patent law, and a practicum in patent office practice and procedures. He has a S.B. degree in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a JD degree from the Boston University School of Law.

Lori Krafte
Partner, Wood Herron & Evans

Ms. Krafte counsels clients in trademarks, copyrights, advertising and media law, privacy, and domain disputes and other internet law matters. She teaches Advertising Law and Trademark Law at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she has twice received the Adjunct Faculty Teaching Excellence Award. Ms. Krafte has been listed in: The Best Lawyers in America in the fields of Advertising, Trademark Law, Copyright Law, and IP Litigation; Cincy Leading Lawyers; Ohio Super Lawyers; Chambers USA, America’s Leading Lawyers for Business; and IP Stars (Managing Intellectual Property). She has been named to Ohio Super Lawyers’ Top 50 Women Lawyers in Ohio and Top 25 Women Lawyers in Cincinnati. Finally, she received the Distinguished Service Award in 2013 from AAF Cincinnati (the local affiliate of the American Advertising Federation).She received her BA from Indiana University, JD from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, and PhD from The Claremont Graduate School.
