Our dedicated staff also works with you in one-on-one advising sessions to prepare you for the job search process and for success in a professional environment.  They continually seek opportunities for partnerships that can provide students with invaluable work experience. Whether it is UC Law’s innovative Catalyst program that connects you to practicing attorneys,  Employer Roundtables, information fairs, or speed chats, the Center connects students to the profession one lawyer at a time and provides important networking experiences for law students.

The Center also houses the College of Law’s Academic Success and Legal Externship Programs. The offerings of each showcase our commitment to help students succeed both during and after their law school experience. The Academic Success Program is offered throughout the year and includes both one-on-one counseling and group sessions. Legal Externship opportunities present themselves in the second and third years of law school and allow upper-level students to gain practical experience with local legal employers while simultaneously earning class credit.
