J. Robert Droege, '49. A delayed air force stint, a social fraternity, and a happenstance meeting with a hotel mogul led J. Robert Droege, '49 to a successful career. Bob used his law degree to put his stamp on the business community and at the same time was able to give back and make a difference. He has been very generous to the UC College of Law by creating a trust that is providing significant dividends to the college now and for years to come. (Read more.)
Nancy Oliver, '90. Nancy Oliver, '90 stepped into the temporary role of Interim Associate Dean after former Associate Dean Barbara G. Watts retired from the College of Law in June of 2008. "I'm very excited about serving the College of Law in this new position," said Oliver. As one of the law school's Legal Research and Writing professors, she has many years of experience working with first-year law students. "I love teaching," said Dean Oliver. "But this new role enables me to expand my own skill set and also work more closely with upper-level students." (Read more.)
