Oct 21 2010 Richard L. Moore has joined the Labor and Employment practice group at Frost Brown Todd. He is a lateral partner from Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, LLP and will be based in the Cincinnati office of Frost Brown Todd. Moore defends clients in federal and state court litigation arising from various claims of employment discrimination and wrongful termination, including claims arising from protected class discrimination, the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as other statutory and common law claims. Mr. Moore also defends employers in workers’ compensation claims at both administrative hearings and in court appeals. He is also a frequent lecturer and author on issues related to employment law, workers’ compensation, and electronic discovery.
Moore is a trustee of the Cincinnati Bar. He is also a board member for both the Wellness Community of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and the Mercantile Library Association and former Board Chair of the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he served as a member of the Law Review.
