Both the College of Law and the University of Cincinnati recognize alumni for their outstanding professional accomplishments and service to their communities.
The UC Law Alumni Association Distinguished Alumni Award has been honoring outstanding law alumni since 1980. This award is presented annually at the Distinguished Alumni Luncheon. The recipients inspire all of us to make a difference in our chosen path.
The Nicholas Longworth, III Alumni Achievement Award is named in honor of one of the College of Law’s most distinguished graduates, who served as a representative to the U.S. Congress from the First District of Ohio for 26 years and was Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1925 until 1931, the year of his death. The recipients come from all walks of life.
The University of Cincinnati offers many different awards recognizing exceptional achievements, service, and significant contributions. The Honorary Degree is the highest award bestowed by the University and provides recognition for those alumni who have attained extraordinary distinction. Many College of Law alumni have been recipients of awards from the university.
