August 15, 2011 (Florence, KY) – Kasey L. Bond, Member in the Florence office of Frost Brown Todd, has been recognized with two local leadership honors.
Bond received the Next Generation Leader Award (NLGA), presented by LEGACY, a premier organization for young professionals in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati region. The NLGA is designed to recognize young professionals under the age of 40 who live or work in the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati area for their accomplishments in their professional field as well as their contributions to the community. The NLGA is given out in 13 distinct categories, including: Architecture, Engineering and Construction; Arts, Entertainment and Music; Community Service and Non-Profit; Education; Financial Services; Government and Public Affairs; Hospitality and Tourism; Human Resources; Legal Services; Medical and Health Care Services; Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing; Real Estate Services; and Technology. Bond has been recognized in the Legal Services category.
Bond was also selected to participate in the Leadership Northern Kentucky Class of 2012. Leadership Northern Kentucky is a program assisting individuals in the development of leadership skills and knowledge of regional issues. Close to forty individuals participate annually in the nine-month program. These individuals represent many facets of the community including business, government, education, media, non-profit agencies, heath services and community organizations. Participants benefit from the program by honing leadership skills, enhancing knowledge of regional issues, developing a greater understanding of diversity, increased and diverse networking opportunities, a refreshment of values and personal mission, and the opportunity to become a knowledgeable, committed leader to the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati Community.
Kasey Bond practices in the Labor and Employment department at Frost Brown Todd. She has extensive trial experience, including serving as lead counsel in numerous trials in both state and federal court. Kasey has experience arbitrating grievances for unionized employers; representing employers in unfair labor practice proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board; counseling employers regarding various union issues, including organizing campaigns and union avoidance; representing employers in litigation involving claims under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FLSA, and FMLA; representing employers in proceedings before the EEOC; and counseling clients regarding miscellaneous employment issues, including wage-hour, family and medical leave, discipline and termination issues.
