Associates to work in Cincinnati and Columbus
CINCINNATI – November 3, 2011 — Two University of Cincinnati College of Law graduates have been hired by Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, according to the firm.
Taryn M. Filo joined the firm’s labor and employment group and will work in the Columbus office. She received her J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif. She served as an associate member and the articles editor of the University of Cincinnati Law Review. Filo also served as judicial extern to the Honorable S. Arthur Spiegel in the U.S. District Court in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a Vorys summer associate in 2010. She received her B.S. summa cum laude from The Ohio State University.
James M. Patrick, of Finneytown, joined the firm’s labor and employment group and will work in the Cincinnati office. He received his J.D. summa cum laude from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif. He also served as the executive editor of the University of Cincinnati Law Review. In addition, Patrick served as a judicial extern to the Honorable David L. Bunning in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and was a Vorys summer associate in 2010. He received his B.A. with high distinction from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
