Cincinnati Law Admitted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to the University of Cincinnati College of Law! The UC Law Office of Admissions & Financial Aid has created this page for admitted students to serve as a student resource during the transition to UC law school.

GETTING STARTED

Your career at the College of Law begins with a week-long orientation program called “Introduction to Law.” Orientation will occur in August (exact dates to be determined in the winter months).  In addition to a variety of speakers and events, a one-credit hour class is also incorporated into this week. Fall semester schedules and corresponding textbook lists for incoming students are provided during this orientation.

In addition, the UC College of Law will host a "Taking Care of Business" day prior to orientation.  This orientation event enables incoming students to obtain their new UC ID cards and to meet with representatives concerning financial aid, student health insurance, student lockers and information technology. Returning UC law students will even be on hand to provide tours of the law school building. While this UC Law orientation program is not mandatory, virtually all incoming students attend each year to wrap up these administrative items before classes officially begin.

If you have questions after reviewing the information to the left, do not hesitate to contact the Office of Admissions & Financial Aid at admissions@law.uc.edu or 513.556.0078.
