Cincinnati, OH-The story of Clarence Elkins, freed through the efforts of UC Law students and staff working with the Ohio Innocence Project/Rosenthal Institute for Justice, is featured in this week's People Magazine (October 9, 2006).  Among other things, the People Magazine article discusses the role of our students in freeing Mr. Elkins. It can be found on page 87.

Clarence Elkins served nearly eight years of a life sentence for a double rape and murder that he didn't commit. This case has the distinction of being the first exoneration for the OIP.
