The Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights maintains an extensive collection of human
rights literature and documents at the University of Cincinnati College
of Law. The Urban Morgan Collection includes works on both the theoretical
and practical aspects of the international protection of human rights,
reports on the development of human rights case law abroad and before
international tribunals, human rights journals, reports of international
organizations, and significant works of fiction. The Urban Morgan
Institute has endeavored to acquire literature to facilitate an interdisciplinary
study of human rights and strives to maintain a current collection.
In addition, the
College of Law Library maintains an archive of William
J. Butler's papers.
