Services for Students with Disabilites

The College of Law maintains a close working relationship with the University's Office of Disability Services in order to provide appropriate accommodations for students with disabilities.

The Disability Services Office, which operates under the requirements of the American With Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the laws of the State of Ohio, offers a wide range of support services to students with disabilities. First and foremost, the staff of the DSO assist in the identification reasonable academic accommodations for students with disabilities and coordinate the implementation of the recommended accommodations with the College of Law.

In order to receive an appropriate accommodation, students with disabilities must first register with the Disability Services office, located in 200 University Pavilion. Students who would like more information about accommodations for particular disabilities should contact Associate Dean Barbara Watts who serves as liaison between the College of Law and the Disability Services Office.
